V & P Family Pty Ltd (ABN 63 702 577 044) — referred to in this policy as “we”, “us” or “our” — provides advisory and consulting services to family businesses in Perth and across Western Australia. We respect the privacy of every visitor to vandpfamily.site and every client we work with, and we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

- your business name, your role, and the details of your enquiry;
- information you choose to share about your family business where it is relevant to a potential or current engagement (for example, ownership structure, succession goals or governance needs);

We do not routinely collect sensitive information (such as health information or information about racial or ethnic origin). If sensitive information were ever required, we would ask for your consent before collecting it.

We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
11. Notifiable data breaches
We maintain reasonable safeguards against data breaches. If an eligible data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to individuals, we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
